Anti-wrinkle INJECTions
With a quick procedure and natural looking results, anti-wrinkle injections are a safe, non-surgical way of reducing facial lines and wrinkles to restore a smoother, fresher appearance.
Anti-wrinkle injections are used to block the nerve signals that cause muscles to contract. This effect relaxes and smooths the look of lines and wrinkles caused by repetitive movements on the face - most commonly, between the brows, crows-feet around the eyes, and horizontal forehead creases.
Treatable Areas
Anti-wrinkle injections are popular injectables used to soften wrinkles, crow’s feet, frown lines and other signs of ageing.
Benefits
Helps smooth fine lines and wrinkles
Restores a more youthful appearance
Eases the muscle movement that causes deep frown lines and crows feet
Can reduce excess perspiration and ease migraines
Non-permanent and will naturally break down over time
Results
Multiple factors affect the longevity of the results including how much was injected and where it was put in the face. As a general guideline, anti-wrinkle injections last around three to six months. If you like the results, be prepared to make this part of your beauty routine that will require some upkeep.
INJECTion Process
Treatment
Treatment is gently placed through a fine sterile needle into the facial muscle of expression
The treatment uses Botulism Toxin A, commonly known by the brand Botox, but there are several brands in the market in the UK
Treatment can cause mild discomfort for a few seconds
Effects can be seen within 3 days and the complete effect in 2 weeks
Treatment lasts for 3-6 months, and it often increases duration with progressive treatments
Treatment can be completed within as little as 15-30 minutes depending on the treatment areas
Post-treatment
While injectables are minimally invasive and can be done in minutes, there are important things to keep in mind post-appointment. Anti-wrinkle injections are a true lunchtime procedure: There's almost nothing you need to do beforehand, and only a few restrictions after.
NOTE If you are on blood thinner or anti-inflammatory medications, or have an active skin infection please contact us before treatment as we may need to alter or delay your aesthetic treatment.
