Alumier MD Chemical peels are a minimally invasive way to dramatically improve the appearance of skin, helping to diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

If you’re looking for smoother skin, a chemical peel could be your holy grail as the peel also targets rough dry skin, along with scars and general lumps and bumps, meaning skin looks younger and plumper after around 7 days.
RESULTS
A chemical peel is a solution applied during an in-clinic treatment which works to remove dead skin cells. As a result of this highly effective exfoliation, the skin ramps up its production of new skin, replacing old, damaged skin cells with healthy new ones. In the days following some peeling treatments, your skin might feel dry, and you might notice some flaking as the dead skin peels away (how satisfying). This peeling action occurs at cellular level revealing the smoother, younger, and brighter skin from below that top layer. After around 7 days all the dead skin will have shed, any redness will have calmed, and your skin will be glowing.

We also offer a review 2-4 weeks after the initial treatment, to discuss results and plan / carry out any further treatment.
CHEMICAL PEEL Process
Treatment
After a thorough consultation your skin will be gently and thoroughly cleansed
A bespoke combination of active ingredients, depending on your skin type is then applied to your skin in a controlled manner
The treatment layers are left on for several minutes - duration depends on the ingredients used and the desired depth of peel
The peel is then either neutralised or cleansed off
After care calming balm and sunscreen are then gently applied
Treatments last 25-45 minutes, depending on the type and depth of peel
Post-treatment
You will be given an after care kit of skincare to take home with you to use, to maximise your skin care at home for the next 5 days, including Sensicalm creamy cleanser to gently cleanse post-peel dry skin, Recovery balm for soothing and hydrating, and Sheer Hydration factor 40SPF to protect from harmful UV rays.
Don’t pick at flaky skin, but just let it naturally fall away when it is ready - picking might make it sore or lead to scarring.
Avoid at home exfoliants like scrubs, retinols and acids for at least 5 days post-peel to let the new skin settle.
