Treatment
Treatment is gently placed through a fine sterile needle into the facial muscle of expression
The treatment uses Botulism Toxin A, commonly known by the brand Botox, but there are several brands in the market in the UK
Treatment can cause mild discomfort for a few seconds
Effects can be seen within 3 days and the complete effect in 2 weeks
Treatment lasts for 3-6 months, and it often increases duration with progressive treatments
Treatment can be completed within as little as 15-30 minutes depending on the treatment areas
Post-treatment
While injectables are minimally invasive and can be done in minutes, there are important things to keep in mind post-appointment. Anti-wrinkle injections are a true lunchtime procedure: There's almost nothing you need to do beforehand, and only a few restrictions after.
